Veteran radio and television practitioner for 25 years, Rolly "Lakay" Gonzalo has covered most of the local and international trips of former presidents Corazon Aquino, Fidel Ramos, and Joseph Estrada.

He has proven much of his works in delivering credible news and public service to his listeners. On Feb 01, 1981, he started as a reporter for RMN-DWHB Baguio, at the same time, worked for office of media affairs (OMA) and Philippine News Agency (PNA). Later on, he joined RMN-DZXL Manila in 1986 as Malacanang reporter and news director.

He considered the turning point of his success when he had decided to venture in broadcasting where he became a broadcast, journalist and a print media practitioner.

Currently, he is the news director of DWIZ Aliw Broadcasters Corporation, the newscaster of NBN Channel 4 Teleradyo, and director of National Press Club.
