“The president will issue an executive order on how to grant incentives to the members of 4Ps once they submit themselves for vaccination without violating the regulations governing the program,” ang pahayag ni Bautista nang bumisita ito sa isang vaccination center sa Zamboanga City noong Martes.

“We explained to them that they really need to be vaccinated against coronavirus disease during the conduct of the family development sessions,” ani Bautista.

“I am calling all local government units to consider passing ordinances for age restrictions among minors, who can be allowed to go the malls,” ang wika ng punong ehekutibo.

“Certainly, we cannot allow those below 12 years old or those who are still unvaccinated to be exposed to the risk of getting covid-19 in public places,” dagdag pa niya.

DILG to issue show cause order vs LGUs that fail to submit vaccination data

Aileen Cerrudo   •   November 5, 2021

MANILA, Philippines—The Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG) said local government units (LGUs) that fail to submit their vaccination data will receive a show cause order.

DILG undersecretary Jonathan Malaya said there are about 10 million vaccination data that have not yet been uploaded in the system because of delays in the submission of vaccination data.

Dahil base po doon sa ating polisiya sa National Vaccine Operations Center, at the end of the day kailangan po ay naire-report nila ang nababakunahan nila, (About 30% of LGUs have not yet submitted their updated daily records. Based on the policy of the National Vaccine Operations Center, LGUs need to submit their vaccination data),” Malaya said.

“In the next few weeks the DILG could already tell if there are LGUs that need to be issued a show cause order and charged with negligence or misconduct,” he added.

The department has also instructed the Philippine National Police and the Bureau of Fire Protection to ensure the delivery of vaccines to far-flung areas. AAC (with reports from JP Nuñez)
