Pop diva Kuh Ledesma is thankful for being part of Songs for Heroes 2: Ang Mamatay Nang Dahil Sa Iyo (To Die For You), stating that the concert is a rare opportunity to pay tribute to the country’s gallant defenders.

“It is a good opportunity to help and I am glad that I am invited to join such rare event,” the OPM icon remarked.

Kuh is also looking forward to take the concert stage along with the members of the Philippine National Police (PNP) and the Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP).

“This is very exciting,” she exclaimed, adding that the concert will be an avenue to showcase the talents of the uniformed men.

Asked about her performance, the singing sensation shared that it will be “very inspiring.”

“I want to inspire our fellowmen, especially the police and the soldiers, who love our country. It will be a delight to sing for them,” she added.

Apart from Kuh, other big names in the OPM industry such as Jed Madela, Wency Cornejo, Jeffrey Hidalgo and Jenine Desiderio, will also take the concert stage.

The phenomenal Asia’s Got Talent (AGT) third placer Gerphil Flores will also render a world-class performance.

Other performers include R&B singer Arnee Hidalgo, AGT finalist,Gwyneth Dorado, Sam Shoaf, 5th Gen, the University of the Philippines (UP) Dance Company and the Ramon Obusan Folkloric Group.
