AFP Gets New Rescue Ambulance Units

The Armed Forces and Police Mutual Benefit Association (AFPMBAI) has donated a total of 16 rescue ambulance units to the Armed Forces of the Philippines and to other government agencies.

Among the other recipients were the Philippine National Police, Bureau of Jail Management and Penology, and Philippine Coast Guard.

The turnover ceremony was held on December 14 at the AFP General Headquarters. Among the key attendees are AFP Chief of Staff and AFPMBAI Chairman of the Board Gen. Hernando DCA Iriberri and AFPMBAI President and CEO Major General Edgardo Rene Samonte (Ret.).

The ambulance donation is complete with search and rescue equipment such as head and neck protecting gears, spine boards, chainsaw and bolt cutters, all-risk helmets, and extrication tools.
