Benjamin Diokno is no novice in the budget and management field. Diokno has been the secretary of budget and management during former President Estrada’s incumbency. He also served as undersecretary for Budget Operations at the DBM from 1986 to 1981. Diokno is currently a professor in Economics at University of the Philippines.
